About School of the Arts at Central Gwinnett High School

School of the Arts at Central Gwinnett High School provides a rigorous, college preparatory fine arts programs for students at a pre-professional and professional level.  The School of the Arts includes a Conservatory program.

The Conservatory provides students with expanded opportunities for taking additional courses in art & design, dance, music technology & audio production, theatre, and voice.  Students in the Conservatory spend a majority of their day in fine arts disciplines. Students from across the district may apply to be a part of the Conservatory.  Admittance to the conservatory will be determined through auditions, interviews, and juried presentations and performances.  

The School of the Arts also provides Central Gwinnett High School students with expanded course opportunities in music, dance, theatre, and visual arts through a Fellows program. Fellows students spend a majority of their day in core academic classes while focusing their elective course work in the arts. While there is no admission criteria for the Fellows program, this experience is designed for students with a strong interest in the arts.  Students from across the county may seek a permissive transfer to CGHS for the Fellows program.
