About Sofia Grace's STEAM Academy

Our school was founded by Bianca Papapietro, who has over 20+ years in childcare. She has an Associates of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with many other certifications in Computer Science. Currently, completing her Master's of Science in Data Science degree.  

It is our core belief that education should be STEAM centered with a Computer Science integration. We encourage students to ask "why" and "how" instead of only "what". We believe in not limiting their curiosity but following it for purposeful education and development. Research shows the more curiosity is ignited, the more learning takes place. 

As of now most of our children are growing up learning how to be users of technology but not developers. As the deficit of able individuals to work in STEAM fields continue to grow, we realize the importance of guiding children from a young age towards a career path in STEAM. 

Preschool age is the ideal age to advance your child into the world of STEAM. Preschoolers are natural STEAMers. Always questioning the world around them, looking at everything through the eyes of an explorer, their natural curiosity stimulates new possibilities. Our Preschool program ensures that your child's mind is engaged and helps create a life-long love of learning and exploration.
