About Bottles & Bones

Rob and Jennifer Taranto have incorporated their lifelong passion for hospitality into the modern American chophouse, Bottles & Bones, opening in downtown Suwanee this February. Diners will be treated to impeccable, old-school service in an upbeat and lively environment, including live entertainment in the lounge. In essence, the Tarantos created the kind of restaurant that they want to dine in – one that they felt their neighborhood needed.

The husband-and-wife team selected local Executive Chef Ryan Smith, formerly of Watershed on Peachtree and Food 101 concepts. Smith most recently ran the culinary operations at The Landings Club in SavannahGA. General Manager Emile Blau is a seasoned leader in the Atlanta hospitality community. He brings his experience in running the finest steakhouses in the country – most notably, a 22-year career at Bones Steakhouse.

The entire company is passionate about providing upscale hospitality to the Suwanee community and beyondThe pedigreed management team will provide an experience that is approachable and appealing for a weeknight bite, craft cocktail in the lounge or weekend celebration.

Bottles & Bones will be one of the few restaurants in the Southeast using Josper Grills and Ovensproduced in Barcelona, SpainJosper offers the opportunity to grill over wood charcoal, which seals in juices and adds a specific and subtle flavor to fresh seafood, prime meats and small platesOf note, Bottles & Bones will use a sustainable charcoal from Paraguay.

Chef Smith worked closely with the Tarantos to create the menu, adding fresh, bright ingredients and approachable offerings. Bottles & Bones will feature aged prime steaks sourced from Nebraska, daily fresh seafood and a wide variety of gluten-free selectionsIn addition, there will be an extensive appetizer menu, including a house-cured charcuterie boardSmith incorporates his passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients to create stand-out dishes, such as the Sweet Potato Souffle and Roasted Brussels Sprouts with bacon jam vinaigretteDiners can expect nightly specials as well as an inclusive Prime Rib dinner on Sunday and Monday nights and the house specialty Prime dry aged Porterhouse for two on Friday and Saturday nights.

Jennifer Taranto worked meticulously in collaboration with Z-Space Design to help design the 165-seat restaurant. The team commissioned renowned Atlanta artist Steve Penley to create three Americana-style paintings specifically for Bottles & Bones. The restaurant is a departure from traditional dark steakhouse design, with a rich and warm color palette. There is an open kitchen, 36-seat formal private dining room, the lively 40-seat Lounge at Bottles & Bones – featuring a baby grand piano and 16-seat bar – as well as highboys.

“We look for the community to embrace us whether it’s for date night, casual late-night bites or a wonderful experience in our lounge, featuring nightly live entertainment,” said Rob Taranto. “Our private dining room is available for celebrations or the perfect place for a business dinner.
