About Moon Mobile Veterinary Services

Dr. Alicia Moon, DVM, CVA Graduated from the University of Gerogia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, after working as a kennel attendant, and a veterinary tech while in college.  I became intrested in holistic medicine, and alternative forms of treatments including acupuncture, and laser along with traditional treatments and treating exotic pets while working at different clinic's while attending college.  I got my IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) certification after college and spent a few years practicing medicine with different hospitals . I came up with the idea for Moon Mobile Veterinary Services after doing some Acupuncture treatments and examining pets for my friends and family in their homes.  I found that the pets were less stressed and their parents told me how much more convenient it was not to have to load them into the car. So, Moon Mobile Veterinary Services was born.  We started in 2013 as simple come to your house do an exam, with limited treatments to offering a wide range of services including Laser, and mobile x-rays.  Our Mission statement is to provide the highest quality of medicine to our patients.  We Believe that God created animals for us to enjoy, love, and care for; so our goal is to lengthen and enrich that relationship between the pet and owner.  We hope that if you are looking for a partner in the care of your animal, at you will give us a look, we see small animals, and exotic pets, and offer a wide range of in home care options both traditional and holistic, for your furry family members.
