About Players Guild at Sugar Hill

Players Guild at Sugar Hill is the 501(c)3 non-profit Community Theatre troupe-in-residence at The Eagle Theatre at Sugar Hill. Since moving into the Eagle Theatre, Players Guild is attracting some of the best talent in the greater Atlanta area, which thrills us.

In what has become a signature tradition for PGSH, we present a 1930s & 40s radio show each year, where the audience experience is that of a radio studio audience in the 30s and 40s. We use authentic Foley sound effects and actual radio scripts from the 1930s and 40s. We have performed a night of 1930s Halloween horror in our 2015 production of Scared To Death; a Thanksgiving/Christmas radio show Holi-Daze in 2016. In 2017, we presented Bullets & Badges: the Best of Old Crime Radio. Our next radio show in listed on our website, www.pgatsh.com.

Community Theatre survives on the generosity of donors and the work of volunteers. There are many areas within a Community Theatre for people to become involved. Some of those areas are: set-building, set-painting, stage hands, sewing costumes, making props, make-up artistry, concessions, ushering, and of course, acting. For actors, we hold open auditions (audition information is on our website: www.pgatsh.com).

If anyone would like information on our Corporate or individual sponsorship, you can call, email, or look for the information on our website: www.pgatsh.com
