About
Help for Healthcare Professionals (HHCP)
Supporting those who vowed to care for us.
Founded by a registered nurse during COVID-19, Help for Healthcare Professionals (HHCP) is a Gwinnett-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting Georgia's healthcare workers and the students who will follow them.
Through education, scholarships, crisis relief, and mentorship, HHCP has raised over $500,000 and reached healthcare workers, students, and families across 27 Georgia counties.
Our YOUTH-MED® Mentorship Program prepares youth for careers in medicine, nursing, and health technology. Scholars complete hands-on clinical shadowing, mentorship, and career exposure across multiple health pathways. To date, HHCP has awarded 17 scholarships and graduated 71 scholars from the YOUTH-MED® program.
HHCP's reach extends beyond Georgia. Following Hurricane Melissa, HHCP mobilized and provided approximately $80,000 in medical supplies and equipment for disaster relief in Jamaica.
Each April, HHCP hosts its "Night of Glam & Gratitude," an annual recognition event that alternates between an awards gala and an awards luncheon, honoring outstanding healthcare professionals and the partners who support our mission. The next gala is set for April 17, 2027.
