Hands of Christ, Duluth Co-op

1. We are a Food Pantry. Anyone from our service area can receive about 60lbs of food twice a month, regardless of income, other benefits or age. All that is required is proof of address in zip codes 30096 and 30097, ID, and an online reservation.

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 2pm and we are open the second Saturday of every month from 10am to 12noon by reservation

a. In November we provide Thanksgiving meals when and while available, first come first serve

2. We can assist with Rent or Mortgage payments or Utility payments on an emergency basis, once a year, for seniors, adults or children who are disabled or families with minor children, when funds are available.

a. Rent assistance once a year for up to $400

b. Utility assistance once ever for up to $300

3. We provide educational programs:

a. Budgeting

b. English as a Second Language

1c. We will be adding classes on Banking

4. We provide special outreach for Children:

a. Back to school backpacks in the late summer

b. Christmas Shop in December for existing client families with minor children while supplies last, in 2025 we provided toys to 515 children

c. Easter Baskets in the Spring

d. Snack Boxes for Children during the summer

5. Referrals for services and support from dozens of other organizations and agencies

6. We sponsor and host job fairs on a quarterly basis

In 2025 we served over 23,000 Gwinnett families, with food, referrals and emergency assistance.
