About Georgia Orton-Gillingham Tutoring for Dyslexia

At Georgia Orton-Gillingham Tutoring, we provide tutoring for children with dyslexia or other language learning differences. We specialize in Reading, Writing, Spelling and Phonemic Awareness. 

Our owner, Jessica Northcutt, is a certified teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Orton-Gillingham instruction is a multi-sensory approach to teaching reading, written language, and spelling skills that is tailored to the individual needs of each student. Tutoring is diagnostic, prescriptive, sequential and structured.

The Orton-Gillingham method has been proven through scientific research to improve the skills of dyslexic students and those who struggle with reading, writing, and spelling.
