BUFORD, Ga. — Good news for businesses and Best of Gwinnett fans alike! The wait is getting a little shorter this year.
For the 2026 Best of Gwinnett Awards, public voting will conclude on November 18, and the winners will be announced on December 16, 2026 giving recipients more time to celebrate their achievement and put their Best of Gwinnett recognition to work as they prepare for 2027.
For nearly 30 years, the Best of Gwinnett Awards have celebrated the businesses, professionals, and organizations that make Gwinnett County such a remarkable place to live, work, and do business. Each year, the program shines a spotlight on those who consistently go the extra mile—serving customers with excellence, supporting local causes, creating jobs, and helping strengthen the communities we proudly call home.

"These awards have always been about celebrating excellence, and we're excited that this new schedule allows us to share that celebration with the community even sooner."
The updated timeline gives winners additional time before the holidays to incorporate their Best of Gwinnett recognition into marketing campaigns, websites, social media, advertising, and year-end communications. It also allows businesses to begin the new year already showcasing one of Gwinnett's most recognized symbols of local excellence.
From neighborhood restaurants and retailers to healthcare providers, contractors, nonprofits, professional service firms, and hometown entrepreneurs, the Best of Gwinnett Awards celebrate the people whose dedication, innovation, and commitment help shape the character of our county.
