Big Screens, Big Matches!
You don't need a stadium ticket to get in on the FIFA World Cup excitement! This summer, Gwinnett is rolling out big screens, community watch parties, and plenty of reasons to spend match day outdoors.
Where Gwinnett Is Watching
At The Forum in Peachtree Corners, Fútbol at The Forum is giving fans an easygoing place to catch the action close to home. The event runs on select dates through July 19 in The Plaza, with complimentary live screenings throughout the tournament.
The Plaza already has the right setup for this kind of thing, including a turfed open-air gathering space, seating, tables, and an LED screen built for movies and live events. Translation: you can watch the match without balancing your drink on your knee!
The June 17 lineup includes Portugal vs. Congo DR at 1 p.m. and England vs. Croatia at 4 p.m., and more dates are always being added. It’s a solid option for fans who like their soccer with nearby restaurants, walkable browsing, and room to make an afternoon of it!
Suwanee joins the tournament buzz on June 27 with its Kick it in the Nnett Watch Party at Town Center on Main & DeLay Nature Park. The event centers around the Congo DR vs. Uzbekistan match and brings the full community-event playbook: a massive outdoor screen, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and themed entertainment.
Semifinal Energy in Norcross
By July 15, the stakes get higher in Norcross, where Lillian Webb Park will host a FIFA World Cup Semifinals Watch Party. Live music begins at 2 p.m., kickoff is at 3 p.m., and fans are invited to bring crews, lawn chairs, and picnic blankets for a free, family-friendly afternoon.
Whether you know every player's stats or you're just here for the food trucks and atmosphere, these events make it easy to be part of the action. All that's left to do is pick a watch party and decide who you're cheering for!
