Gwinnett is giving cyclists more reasons to grab a helmet and go! Local bike shops, group rides, races, and miles of multi-use paths make it easy to put two wheels to good use.

Gear Up and Get Rolling

In Norcross, The Bicycle Doctor helps keep local riders on the road and trail. The full-service shop serves recreational riders, families, and dedicated cyclists with repairs, professional bike fitting, bicycles, parts, and accessories. A quick tune-up can revive a bike that has been collecting dust, while a proper fitting can make longer rides considerably more comfortable.

Over in Buford, Suburban Cycles on Pucketts Mill Road offers another home base for cyclists. The shop carries road, fitness, mountain, electric, and other bikes, along with cycling gear. Its service and repair department handles everything from routine maintenance to repairs when all those miles begin catching up with the bike.

Coffee, Company, and a Little Competition

Suwanee puts a social spin on cycling at Good Coffee Bike Shop, where coffee and bikes happily share an address. The shop hosts rides and offers bike fitting and repair services, giving cyclists a place to meet up, get some work done on their bikes, and stick around for a cup afterward.

The pace picks up this fall when the fourth Suwanee Championship rolls out October 25, 2026. The event brings a competitive edge to a local cycling community that also leaves plenty of room for riders who would rather count scenery than seconds.

For those riders, Lilburn’s Camp Creek Greenway offers a reason to simply get outside and pedal. The open Signature Trail is part of Gwinnett’s network of more than 145 miles of multi-use paths, giving cyclists another way to enjoy the county without making every ride a workout.
