Sugar, Sugar Everywhere!

Sugar, Sugar Everywhere!

Calories don't count when they're attached to a festival, right? Suga Fest: Season 2 Suga Overload returns to Braselton on Saturday, July 25, serving up an afternoon packed with desserts, local vendors, and enough frosting to make any sweet tooth feel seen.

From 1 to 5 p.m., Braselton Town Green will transform into a paradise for anyone who has ever struggled to choose between cookies, cupcakes, brownies, candy, or ice cream. The family-friendly event brings together local bakers, specialty dessert makers, and creative candy vendors, giving visitors the chance to sample everything from nostalgic favorites to over-the-top creations worthy of their own social media spotlight.

Frosting, Fun & Photo Ops

Of course, the desserts are only part of the experience. Interactive activities, colorful displays, and plenty of photo-worthy moments help turn Suga Fest into more than a shopping trip. Families can wander between booths, discover new local businesses, and spend the afternoon sampling handcrafted treats while kids enjoy activities designed with all ages in mind. Whether your weakness is a towering cupcake, gourmet cookies, handmade candy, or a scoop piled higher than seems physically possible, there's plenty to keep everyone happily occupied.

Save Room for One More Bite

Events like Suga Fest also shine a spotlight on the creative small businesses that make Gwinnett's food scene so much fun to explore. Local bakers and dessert makers get a chance to showcase signature recipes, inventive flavors, and eye-catching creations that you may not find anywhere else. Even if you arrive convinced you're "just looking," chances are you'll head home carrying at least one box that somehow became four.

Bring the family, invite the friend who always orders dessert first, and don't skip lunch. Suga Fest: Season 2 Suga Overload promises an afternoon where the biggest decision is figuring out which sweet treat deserves the first bite!
