Trick, Treat, Take a Seat!

Suwanee is getting a head start on the candy haul when Dinner & a BOOvie takes over Town Center Park on October 24, sending costumes down Town Center Avenue before dinner, games, and two movies under the night sky.

Running from 5 to 10 p.m., the Saturday evening packs plenty into five hours without requiring families to bounce between half a dozen plans.

Candy First, Movies Later

The evening starts with trick-or-treating at participating merchant storefronts along Town Center Avenue. Costumes are encouraged, and once the candy buckets have gotten some attention, the action continues in the park with inflatables, games, sweets, food trucks, and other activities.

Food trucks and vendors will keep the park well supplied throughout the evening, with dinner, sweets, and to-go beverages available for purchase. Suwanee will roll out the complete vendor lineup and participating trick-or-treat stops as the event gets closer.

By 6 p.m., it’s time to find a spot on the lawn. Guests can bring blankets and chairs for the first movie of the evening, followed by a second screening at 8 p.m. Movie titles are still under wraps, adding a little suspense to a night already dressed for the occasion.

Save Room for the Double Feature

The setup gives families room to make a full evening of the festivities without keeping to a rigid schedule. Arrive early for trick-or-treating, let the kids loose on the inflatables, grab dinner when hunger wins, then claim a patch of grass before the opening credits roll.

And because Dinner & a BOOvie arrives a full week before Halloween, there’s no competition with October 31 plans. Consider it the warm-up round for costumes, candy, and seeing just how long the kids can stay awake through movie number two.
