Two Fests Are Better Than One!
Gwinnett has apparently decided one festival is not enough for September 19 and 20. Peachtree Corners and Suwanee are both filling the weekend with food, music, shopping and enough activity to justify comfortable shoes.
The 15th Annual Peachtree Corners Festival and Suwanee Fest land on exactly the same Saturday and Sunday, creating a rare opportunity to festival-hop between two communities less than a leisurely afternoon apart.
The only real question is where to start.
Peachtree Corners Brings the Classics
At the Town Green and along Peachtree Corners Circle, the Peachtree Corners Festival runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
Its entertainment and experiences include live music, kids’ activities and classic cars, while the 2026 exhibitor lineup packs the festival with handmade jewelry, pottery, artwork, home décor and other finds worth slowing down for.
Hunger should not be an issue. The festival food lineup brings plenty of choices, and admission and parking are free, according to the festival FAQ.
Then there is Suwanee.
Step Into the Story
This year’s Suwanee Fest goes full fairytale with its “Step Into the Story” theme. Town Center Park opens Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., with nearly 200 vendors, food and live entertainment filling the weekend.
Families can make their way to the Family Fun Zone for activities and games, while inflatables and rides add another layer for younger festivalgoers. The traditional Suwanee Fest Parade brings floats, costumes and performances into the weekend kickoff.
With both festivals happening simultaneously, this is one weekend when loyalty to a single zip code seems unnecessary. Start Saturday morning in Suwanee, wander through Peachtree Corners later, or divide the festivities across two days and save yourself from competitive-level strolling.
Either way, September 19 and 20 offer a strong argument for clearing the calendar.
