Young Soo Ahn- 서예(Seoye, 書藝) or Chinese calligraphy is the art of writing Chinese characters but because it gathers together the ideals of culture, thought, and philosophy, it is treated as an epitome of art. The tools of writing Chinese calligraphy (also known as the Four Treasures) are:
Brush
Ink
Paper
Inkstone
These writing tools become life-time friends to the scholar in his study.

Kun Hee Ahn- 문인화 (Mun In Hwa), Literati Painting, also known as Ink Wash Painting is an East Asian Brush Painting that uses carbon-based black ink, the same as used in East Asian Calligraphy, in various concentrations.

For centuries, this form of art was practiced by highly educated scholars or literati.
