About Nexus Art And Music Center

Nexus Art And Music Center is an art school, as well as a music school offering workshops and private lessons in art and music located in Snellville, Georgia. Additionally, we have a musical instrument store within our art center. We carry several brands of musical instruments, including Casio, Washburn, Jasmine, KMC, Cecilio, Natal, and Hunter Musical Instruments. 

Our artists are trained in Classical Realism, Russian Academic Art, and Contemporary Art. A former student of ours recently had his artwork displayed in the Capitol Building at only 16 years old! Our instructor, Edwin Boone, teaches both adults and students of all ages. It's never too late!

In order to offer you the highest quality instruction, we have meticulously recruited musicians from the following categories: Piano, Drum, Guitar, Saxophone, Trumpet, Clarinet, Flute and Voice Instructors. Our musicians come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience. 

One of our priority instructors, Everett Collins, has toured with the Isley Brothers and R&B group, Surface, as well as working with Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson. After "retiring" from the industry and whenever he wasn't on the road, he taught Middle and Elementary School Bands for 35 years. Mr. Collins teaches:
Drums, Electric Bass, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Flute, Clarinet and not only that but can teach you what it's really like to be a working musician. He is also in charge of our Instrument rental program.

Our other music instructors have worked with Stevie Wonder, Method Man, Ne-Yo, Fall Out Boy, just to name a few; have master's and bachelor's degrees in music and have performed in concert halls all over the world. Our new and younger instructors are also learning from our priority teachers so if you love to teach music and want to work with musicians that have actually worked in the industry, this is the place for you! 

The pandemic may have slowed us down, but we are back, and we have more opportunities in store such as summer art camps, African drumming and group music lessons.
